Our family has started up a rabbitry (raising rabbits) and were trying to find a good Catholic name for it. Any suggestions? :o

I can think of a dozen! Oh, you mean acceptable for a family audience?

Nevermind. 😉

If a bit of humour is acceptable, what about St. Bunnyface? 😃

It’s catchy and memorable.

If too humourous, my apologies.

Humour is acceptable 😃 Monacella is a pretty name. I kept on thinking about something to do with St. Francis but putting a possessive on the name Francis sounds funny (IMHO) (Francis’ Rabbitry). Hmmm…

For some reason I think of St. Benedict or St. Lucy. I don’t know why:shrug:

The patron saint of domestic animals is St. Anthony the Abbot. How about the Abbot’s Rabbits? 😃

My daughter votes for Abbot’s Rabbits!

For what it’s worth, we call our rabbitry Peter’s Rabbits. It’s not copyrighted so we don’t mind sharing the name. We also raise guinea pigs with our rabbits. Also have doves, chickens, turkeys, geese, guineas, peacocks, paraketes, cats, dogs, and thinking about adding more critters soon.

Do you keep bees (noticed your name)? If you do and don’t mind, PM me some info. My husband and sons are dying to keep bees but we don’t know how to get started.

I do not raise bees. I do raise, rabbits for meat, chickens for eggs and we have two dogs, (a siberian husky & a basset hound) and three cats.
