Catholic Necklace Help

I want to purchase a saint medal, but I cannot find any that come with anything over than a silver or gold chain. I get a terrible rash when I wear silver or gold. Do any of you know where I could get a leather rope catholic necklace or something else that would work? I have checked all the catholic shops on line and they only the gold or silver option for a chain.
 
Why don’t you just purchase the medal and then find another necklace at the mall (or a craft store or something) and string the medal on? 🤷
 
I was hoping to be able to buy one from a catholic website or monastery, and have the money go to a better place than the mall.

The first thought that came to my mind would be to string the medal on a ribbon of some sort. Most medals would look fine on a black ribbon, I would think. Hope you find something that works!
