My family had great success with the Talbott Recovery Center in Atlanta, GA. Here is the link to their website
talbottcampus.com/. The website is comprehensive and gives an excellent overview of what they offer and how to register. My family member enrolled in the 90 day on campus professionals program.
Talbott takes clients from all over the United States and yes, Talbott does have a dual addiction program. My one caveat is this. Talbot is big financial investment. Make sure your family member is doing this because they want to. If he or she is going because they have been pressured by the family then it will turn out to be a giant waste of money and you will not be happy with the results.
Talbott is a private facility and not cheap but was very effective in the case of our family member. I know that there many reputable places out there but I have had a personal positive experience with this one so I feel comfortable telling you about it.
One of the staff members is a retired Catholic priest and an excellent resource.
I had another family member that went to a highly touted facility in another city in the mid-west. However, this family member elected to take the 30 day program. It was not effective, but I don’t blame the facility. The person going through the program has to be absolutely committed and I do not believe that was the case here.
One other thing. If you have not done so yet enroll in Al-Anon and go to the meetings. It helped me a lot.
I will pray for you.
