It is interesting. This has only broken out on a few Catholic news sites. There is speculation that Robert Barron might become the new ordinary for the diocese that EWTN is in, so they are silent so far on this. This thread has been up for 9 hours, and I am the first post.
It doesn’t matter what side of the fence you fall on, that this is happened at all is heartbreaking, even if it is for different reasons, for all of us. Others I suspect aren’t sure how to react because the question of obedience. No matter where you stand or how you feel, all should continue prayers for the Church.

I follow Jesus, our God and savior. The Pope is his vicar on Earth, but he is only a human like the rest of us. His words and actions are not above question, nor is it disloyal to ask for clarification on things he says or does that we do not understand.What an arrogant narcissistic assessment of us lowly lay followers of Francis.

His words and actions are not above question, nor is it disloyal to ask for clarification on things he says or does that we do not understand.
He clearly wants his opinion to be taken seriously, while refusing to do the same for those who disagree with him, and outright insulting them.
