Dunno if this is the right forum to post it in (so feel free to move it, mods), but I’m working on a big paper for my Historical Research class. I’m writing a paper on my parish, which I hope to expand into a 90th anniversary book (last book was the 60th anniversary book). And I’m doing some research, and I want to put the history of the parish against hte backdrop of some pretty quick Catholic population growth. (The head priest was geeking out about my project, when I told him about it briefly.)
So my research difficulty I ran into is trying to find the population of Catholics in Omaha from 1910s-today. Particularly the period from 1919 to maybe 1950s. Does anybody know of where I could find some statistics like this? Even if mentioned in some book or other would be great
I get free ILL through my university library.
I’ve got the History of the Catholic Church in Northeast Nebraska 1891-1969 book which is pretty helpful, but not nearly enough information as I’d hope, by way of numbers.
