So I was raised Catholic and went through the Catechism, but I do not have a full understanding of day to day Catholic living. I get the basics, prayer daily, etc.

The real question is there a book on daily Catholic practices or culture to help my remind myself of God and my Catholic faith?

I don’t know of a book, but you could just start incorporating the practices into your life. Hanging crucifixes, rosaries, icons or pictures of Biblical scenes can remind you throughout the day, not only to pray, but to just remember that you should be acting like a Christian right now. Crossing yourself when you pass a church reminds you of your belief in the real presence and the presence of the Church throughout the world. A calander with saints days, holy days of obligations, and just special feast days might help too. Celebrate your patron saint’s day.

catholicculture.org/ might be what you’re looking for. Other then that you could check your local Catholic bookstore. I remember ours has several books on How to Celebrate Feast Days, a Year of Inulgences, A Novena for Every Occasion, etc.

*Catholicism For Dummies *is the book you want - but make sure it’s *Dummies *and not *Complete Idiots *- there’s a big difference and Dummies is the better book. You can buy it on Amazon.

I just noticed the same authors have written John Paul II for Dummies and *Women in the Bible for Dummies *also.

Also, read books on the Saints. I learned so much about Catholic practices, prayer and sufferings through their lives.
What better examples!:angel1:
