Catholic Prayer book and Roman Missal

So I’m just a baptized Catholic but I am in the process of doing RCIA. And eventually joining a religious order. I want to dedicate my whole life to God.

With that being said I am looking for a very good Catholic prayer book, with every prayer imaginable (if that’s even possible to have condensed in to one book), or at the very least essential prayers. Also I am looking at getting the Roman Missal but I can’t find one. I don’t know which one is the right one when I go on Amazon Canada.

Religious orders pray the Divine Office/Liturgy of the Hours. It comes in a 4 volume set, but you can start out simpler and less expensive than that with Christian Prayer.
 
There are quite a few good apps out there for your cell phone that will save you hundreds of dollars in the long run if you’re open to that option

Since you are in Ontario, I would suggest you reach out to the Daughters of Saint Paul in Toronto, since their religious lives are focused on making available excellent Catholic books and other media and they will be able to help you in many ways, since you are just coming into the Church. pauline.org/locations

They would be able to help you in terms of the best missal to fit your need, which will have the proper calendar for Canada, as well as the liturgy of the hours, with the supplements for Canada.

As far as the most comprehensive prayer book, I would say you may want to look at the Raccolta…but, really, your prayer life will take you beyond reading prayers from the Raccolta.
