When someone asks the question “what Faith are you” and, “how old is your religion”? do you answer confidently, or do you have to explain to that individual an exceedingly large dissertation, that you are an “other”? Should one ignore history, genus tree charts, Church fathers, time lines, point of existence (relative to the founders revelation upon which that religion is founded upon)? Can religious doctrines ultimately be relative to one person… and one person alone? Did one’s religion materialize when he or she read the good book and consciously affirmed, his or her’s own awareness to a higher power? Therefor, given these precepts, shall we conclude that truth is subjective? I ask, if faith is relative, (me and Jesus), then can we argue that everyone’s opinion is equally valid, no matter how differing? I say friends that, “truth”, cannot subjective. If it we’re … Mormons, Jehovah’s witnesses, Baptists, cool aid drinkers, etc… would all be equally valid, In perfect sympathy with each other, dove tailing in faith and reason. I tell you, let us seek disjunction boldly, and commune in the body of Christ in perfect unity, so that opinion/personal interpretation, may be subject to a litmus test, whether it is truth, or lie. Let us pray to be, one body, in truth, and accountable to one God.

There is one truth. If you believe that Jesus Christ lived on earth and he was who he said he was then you are Christian.

If you believe Holy Scripture and Sacred Tradition then you are Catholic and a member in full communion with the Church Jesus founded, guided by the Magisterium and protected by the Holy Spirit. We pray for the day all Christians will reunite in the one universal Church. While not united in the universal Church, other Christians are none-the-less members of the body of Christ.

Jesus most certainly did not teach relativism. The truth is not whatever you choose it to be.

Disjunction, boldly sought or otherwise, is deviation from the truth. If the truth is true, deviations from it are not to the degree they vary.
