Hi, I was wondering if anyone out there knows about any good question and answer books on the Catholic faith. I purchased the book “Catholic Q & A: Answers to the Most Common Questions About Catholicism”, but after coming across something that seemed contrary to me, and also after reading a review on Amazon about the book (“Stay away from this liberal bent”), I’ve decided to return it. It’s a shame, but I’d rather not keep a book that will have wrong answers in it.

Thank you for any suggestions sent my way! 🙂

Oh, and I apologize if this is the wrong place for this thread. 😊

When I was becoming Catholic in 2003-4, I got a hold of vols 1-2 of Fr Peter Stravinskas’ The Catholic Answer Book. They were very helpful to me at the time. (They’re probably still floating around my house somewhere.) I think more volumes have come out since then. They are completely in Q&A format taken, I believe, from his time as editor of Catholic Answers magazine. The books are categorized for easier means of locating the question of interest to you. Other than that, I really like Peter Kreeft’s Catholic Christianity, which is a catechism, of sorts.

Thank you for the suggestions you two! 🙂 Much appreciate it! 👍
