Catholic radio stations report record growth, number set to double to 220
Charleston, Oct 24, 2007 / 09:03 am (CNA).- The number of Catholic radio stations is set to double, according to Catholic Radio Association president Stephen Gajdosik. The Catholic Radio Association has secured broadcasting licenses from the FCC for noncommercial educational FM radio stations across the country. The association has helped submit over 220 applications for new licenses in areas as far apart as Anchorage, Alaska and Key West, Florida.
