Is it true that CRS has provided contraception and abortifacients? If so, has this been addressed and resolved, or is it an ongoing issue?
I never said we don’t give them food if they are not Catholic. I am saying what justification is there for a Catholic institution to support and provide contraception and abortifacients? It is absolutely unacceptable. People donate money expecting it to go towards an organization that will help in a moral and good way and they are blatantly doing it in an immoral way.“Sorry you lost your homes, sorry your village is starving, we cannot give you any food because you do not abide by Catholic doctrine.”
There are many other possibilities.I’m sure it happened, because if it didn’t, the groups that reported it would have been sued.
This link provided by @MHichborn seems to be good evidence. Even if they did not what exactly would justify them doing so was my original question. You can read about it all by going here: https://www.lepantoin.org/summary-of-catholic-relief-services-reports-from-2020/
This was my original question. Assuming the story is true, which now seems like it is given the evidence linked above, what justification is there for this group providing evil services? How does that in any way justify a Catholic organization giving contraception and abortifacients? I am sorry but how are the laity supposed to take the teachings of the faith seriously when catholic institutions are endorsing/helping people sin. That is of course if this is a true story. I’m still curious how those actions could be justifiable.

What happens is that a there is an event, let’s say a devastating tornado or earthquake, a famine or a war. CRS, Catholic Charities come in and help those in need.
I was pondering to her the question, that say the story is true. Just because we don’t give a doctrine test for aid (which we shouldn’t), how would it justify the actions of CRS if true. She never gave me a clear answer. Maybe I wasn’t clear with my original question. They do not give a “doctrine test” to the clinic or shelter or other NGO ticks all the Catholic boxes, they simply help people. Even sinner people, even non-Christian people.
According to wikipedia, it happened back in 2011. A Freedom of Information Act request was submitted and documents were obtained. CRS participated for 2.75 years using the program called “Shuga,” which was produced by MTV, the UN, The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, etc.phil19034:

While CRS strictly adheres to the teachings of the Catholic Church, and our main partners are local parishes and dioceses throughout the world, we work with other agencies who are not always aligned with Catholic teaching.
