Catholic same sex marriages in the U.S.?

I live in London Uk-Yesterday I was watching an old episode- on freeview of
the- Ricki Lake show-the topic was same sex marriages. I was shocked
to hear a lesbian woman say that she had been married to her late partner
by a catholic preist in a catholic church in Florida. Is this possible in America?
I have never heard of this happening in the catholic church

Firsts of all, I am aghast that Ricki Lake is seen in the UK. That program is thankfully no longer seen in the U.S.

I know of no such instance. Certainly, the Catholic Church does not allow it in the U.S. any more than it allows it where you live. Should a priest attempt to do such a thing, there would still be no valid marriage as far as the Church is concerned.
