Catholic silent retreat

Hope you’re able, and that the experience proves fruitful.

If waited until I could set my concerns aside before going on retreat, I would never go on retreat.

I did a 4 day/3night silent retreat at a Jesuit retreat house. We had about two 30-60 minute talks a day, daily mass, and maybe 1 opportunity to learn different types of prayer each day held in the chapel. Also opportunities for spiritual direction, though I did not partake in those. Other than that all meals/other time was silent and we were free to hike the grounds or visit the chapels, etc… There were several hiking trails and little areas set up throughout the property and you could even hike down to the Chattahoochee River if you so desired which was very peaceful. I loved it. It was a great opportunity.
