The Wiccans I have known are Seekers. The depth of their spiritual lives have inspired me to go deeper into my own spiritual life.

They are very community and ecologically minded. They do a wide variety of volunteer work with the homeless. I am friends with a couple who do not practice “magic”, but utilize visualization and meditation. They seek to be kind decent people who take their spiritual lives quite seriously.

There is a “bias” against Wicca that runs deep within the Christian community which I think is unfortunate…and a bias in the Pagan community against Christianity…which in light of some of these posts may be justified.
I’ve had a similar experience with a Wiccan. She encouraged me to step out in faith and go to Bible School. I have now taught adults Bible for five years. Her parents were devout Catholics and she went to Mass whenever they asked her…I’ve been lucky in meeting all sorts of people while working in a book store.Creepiest guy I ever met was a Satanist-had the"Love-Hate" tattoo on him like “Night of the Hunter” and crazy eyes.!

Can you elaborate on this? What you say contradicts my own ten-plus year study of serious occultism. What is your experience?
Hmmm…demons that I’ve spoken to and the High Priest of the Satanic cult. As far as Lucy goes, anyone can browse the internet for Luciferian sites that spells their beliefs. I won’t link to them here. I’m assuming you’ve studied Luciferianism then. Since you must have done so, you realize that they believe Lucifer is the real savior of mankind, bringing enlightenment to mankind from the supposed dictator God. Again, pretty plain from reading.
Could you possibly be projecting your own feelings on this mystery group of yours?
Projecting my own feelings…:hmmm: I don’t know - when a demon and humans tell me what they believe and practice and I see the direct results of that, I tend to acknowledge that.

But, I suppose we are getting away from the real intent of the thread. Maybe we could start a new discussion on your comment that Lucifer is Jesus, compare that belief to the Early Church Fathers and the magisterium and to the Bible and see how it goes. We could also consult people like Father Gabriele Amorth and bring him into the discussion. And while we were at it, we could discuss the role of the LDS theology behind this erroneous belief.

Peace…

I do agree but I fail to see the difference between that and believing in angels, demons, transsubstantiation, amulets depicting saints, miracles, Satan, God, …

@Mystic Warrior: There is another thread going on labelled something like “Why do Hindus hate Christians so much?” It is exactly your attitude (“I belong to the good guys, everyone else is evil.”) that upsets people. If they encounter too many Christians of your type, they get annoyed and ultimately angry. But thanks to the gods there are others…
It’s not my attitude that’s the problem, it’s the attitude of Jesus Christ. Listen, I’ve practiced Buddhism - been there, done that, been open to many different things. My personal experiences have brought me back to the conclusion that there is no higher name or religion on earth than Christianity.

I was stating a fact as I see it. Would I go up to a Hindu and tell them they were part of the Kingdom of Darkness and insult them? No. If they asked me would I tell them? Yes. Do you want me to lie? I’m not into being PC simply for PC sake. If you are then I can’t help you. Upsetting people really is not my concern when it is for the sake of simply not upsetting people.

You believe in logic and reason, I presume. If I really didn’t think Christianity was the way, wouldn’t I belong to another faith? I mean, if all religions are true and “of the light”, why don’t I just follow all of them? Why would I just pick one? I’ve not found any logic or reason that agrees with that premise given the insurmountable evidence of the differing beliefs of those religions.

I don’t need your patronization when you know nothing about me.

Could be 😃

I have no intent at this time to publish my material. My free site is enough for me. I don’t have permission from the people involved to publish anyway and there are other good books out there already that speak of such things, including, “An Exorcist Tells His Story” by Father Amorth and “Hostage to the Devil” by Father Martin and “The Dark Sacrament” and … you get the picture.
