I’ve had a similar experience with a Wiccan. She encouraged me to step out in faith and go to Bible School. I have now taught adults Bible for five years. Her parents were devout Catholics and she went to Mass whenever they asked her…I’ve been lucky in meeting all sorts of people while working in a book store.Creepiest guy I ever met was a Satanist-had the"Love-Hate" tattoo on him like “Night of the Hunter” and crazy eyes.!The Wiccans I have known are Seekers. The depth of their spiritual lives have inspired me to go deeper into my own spiritual life.
They are very community and ecologically minded. They do a wide variety of volunteer work with the homeless. I am friends with a couple who do not practice “magic”, but utilize visualization and meditation. They seek to be kind decent people who take their spiritual lives quite seriously.
There is a “bias” against Wicca that runs deep within the Christian community which I think is unfortunate…and a bias in the Pagan community against Christianity…which in light of some of these posts may be justified.
