First of all, there is no distinction between “good” and bad witch or “white or black” magic or magik or magique whatever… It is all of the devil - Lucifer and his demons are behind the Wicca. No two ways about it.

If she does not renounce satan, and they decide to marry (I don’t believe it will be a catholic wedding) - it will end in divorce shortly thereafter. Unless he is swayed to some watered down, politically correct, tolerant form of christianity interspersed with pagan practices and occult “wisdom”.

We’re not just talking about a Catholic and a protestant getting married…we’re talking about a “Catholic” and someone who aware or inadvertantly is in league with Lucifer.

You know, Lucifer - the one that hopes to defeat Jesus Christ and His catholic church…that Lucifer.

There is a strong possibility that she may have already used her wicca to seduce your son and muddle up his thinking and reasoning. Desensitizing his catholic upbringing.

If there are any children from this “union”… they will also be in danger of demonic oppression.

I don’t care what anybody else tells you on this subject…this is a spiritually dangerous situation for your son and your future grandchildren.

Next time ask her to repeat verbatim, " Jesus Christ is come in the flesh". Verbatim! not just agreeing with you! That’s how you will no if she speaks with the Spirit of God or the spirit of the antichrist.

Vade retro Satana, non suade mihi vana.
Sunt mala quae libas, ipse venea bibas.

Crux Sacra sit mihi lux, nunquam draco sit mihi dux.
Yep. She may not realize the connection with Lucy, but it’s there. Bad sign.

Peace…

I totally agree with what MangyDog has said about Wicca.

Just yesterday I had the experience of meeting two women who were members of Wicca. I was at a self improvement group meeting. We were all sitting around talking. One of the Wicca woman said that it was good to feel the darkness and dress in darkness. She said, “some people think that darkness is bad but it is really good.”
Everybody stayed quiet and didn’t respond to her statement.

The woman was 58yrs.old because she told me. I guess she wanted me to say how young she looked for her age but she looked old.lol.
After the meeting she came up to me and looked at me and said she could tell by looking at me that I had medical problems. She told me all kinds of stuff about me as if she really knew me. I just thanked her and walked away from her.
I wasn’t going to argue with an evil woman who happened to be in a smarty pants mood. She had an attitude that she knew everything about medical problems.

If I had a son who was planning to marry a woman who was from Wicca. I would pray for his safety and hope that the woman would lose interest in my son. I truely believe that prayer can do that.

My advise is to just talk with your son on the telephone or e-mails but don’t waste your time talking with her because she will use her black magic to turn your son against you.

This is a terrible situation you are in and I will pray that your son sees God’s Light, and also see the evil darkness of his girlfriend.
I feel so sorry for you and your family members.

Wiccas do not believe there is a satan. What shall she renounce? “I renounce Cthulhu”. 🤷 😛

:rotfl:
But he believes in them and uses them. At least Satanists know what that they are in league with him.

Lucifer is Jesus, and Cthulhu is a fictional character.

"And we have the more firm prophetical word: whereunto you do well to attend, as to a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn and the day star arise in your hearts."
- 2 Peter 1:19

"Et habemus firmiorem propheticum sermonem: cui benefacitis attendentes quasi lucernæ lucenti in caliginoso loco donec dies elucescat, et lucifer oriatur in cordibus vestris:"
- 2 Peter 1:19 (Latin)
Not according to the Devil worshippers I know who call their master Lucifer. Hmmm…does that mean they are really worshipping Jesus even though they perform dark rituals? Maybe you should talk to a Luciferian?

I won’t go into more about your reference on the thread. Perhaps I’ll PM you.

Enlist Our Lady’s help: say the Rosary for both of them every day. Entrust the situation to God and trust that He will work things out for the best.

My son is engaged to a young lady who practices the religion of Wicca. I am very concerned about this. Has anyone had a similar situation and what is the best way to approach this issue. They engaged prior to us finding out her religious background, we asked, but they were always evasive. We finally forced the issue and were not happy with the revelation. Any information is helpful.
Wow, thats a scary thing! I think if it was me, I would enlist the help of a priest, one who is knowledgeable in Exorcism and can give direction knowing the pure evil involved here. He might be able to council your son and present some compelling evidence of what he is in for. I think what you can do in the mean time is petition St. Michael for his protection here not only for your son but also for you. I’ll pray for you and your son as well, the trick is not to open the door so the evil one can’t get his foot in it.

Satan is a Christian concept. You don’t find it in Wicca.
Lucifer and his demons are behind the Wicca. No two ways about it.
I take it you have never heard of either Christian Wicca, or its Catholic forms.
and they decide to marry (I don’t believe it will be a catholic wedding) - it will end in divorce shortly thereafter.
Is that because:
  • Catholics are more likely to get divorced than Wiccans are;
  • Marriages in which the members are from different religions get divorced more frequently than those from the same religion;
  • Something else;
There is a strong possibility that she may have already used her Wicca to seduce your son and muddle up his thinking and reasoning.
If she has seduced the guy, perhaps it was her sex appeal that was responsible for the seduction. Or maybe some feature, or attribute, other than her religion.
Desensitizing his catholic upbringing.
The OP didn’t say what Trad was involved. However, The Drawing Down of the Moon is borrowed from Crowley’s Gnostic Mass, which was borrowed from an Orthodox Christian Mass.

(Wicca is nothing more than Thelema with a veneer of Anglican theology enclosed in traditional folk practices and beliefs.)
If there are any children from this “union”… they will also be in danger of demonic oppression.
And this is because of, exactly what?

Or to rephrase it: “What makes these children more likely to be in danger of demonic oppression, than those of any other couple?”

Sounds like the makings of a Frank Peritti novel.

I am very concerned about this.
What are your specific concerns?
what is the best way to approach this issue.
  • Be specific;
  • Describe behaviour;
  • Understand where they are at;
    • What do you want the end result to be?
    • What changes do you have to make, for that end result;
    • What changes does your son have to make, for that end result;
    • What changes does your future daughter in law have to make, for that end result;
    • What benefit does you future daughter in law obtain, in making those changes?
    • What benefit does your son obtain, in making those changes?
    • What benefit do you obtain, in making those changes?
    • For what reason do those changes have to be made, for you have that end result;
    • For what reason do those changes have to be made, for your son to have to that end result;
    • For what reason do those changes have to be made, for your future daughter in law to have that end result;
    • How will you make those changes?
    • How will your son make those changes?
    • How will your future daughter in law make those changes?

The CoS is a ridiculous band of misfits who play dress up. Theistic Satanists and theistic Luciferians certainly believe in that personal being of their choice.

My worldview - very simple:

If it’s not the Kingdom of Heaven, it belongs to the Kingdom of Darkness. Jesus makes that clear. Whether claimed atheists or outright diabolists, the result is the same. They don’t belong to the Kingdom of Heaven.

Your worldview is probably different. No matter. You are entitled to it.

Peace…

LOL. I’ve read them, have you? Pretty good I thought. Piercing the Darkness is exactly my beliefs and my experiences. I can only judge from my experiences, the Scriptures and the teaching of learned men whom I trust. I blog about my experiences if you want to get a more detailed view.

Truth or fiction you decide. I know it as my subjective truth. It’s what I know from personal experience with cults who conjur Egyptian gods, invoke Lucy and try to fulfill his plan on the earth to overthrow the Christian God. It’s an infantile attempt, but they certainly believe it with their whole heart 👍

Peace…

First of all, congratulations to your son! I hope he has a happy marriage!
First of all, there is no distinction between “good” and bad witch or “white or black” magic or magik or magique whatever… It is all of the devil - Lucifer and his demons are behind the Wicca. No two ways about it.
Your ignorance already gleems through in your second sentence. Wicca doesn’t work with demons (that is another form of magick entirely, WIcca is more of a religion). The Devil is purely a Christian concept and doesn’t have any place in Wicca, except perhaps symbolically representing the ego that we are trying to escape. And to denounce someone’s practices as evil when you have no idea what they do is egoic…maybe you should know yourself before you are so quick to judge others. Do some self-reflection on your accusations. Observe them.

If she does not renounce satan, and they decide to marry (I don’t believe it will be a catholic wedding) - it will end in divorce shortly thereafter.
First of all, I think that is a horrid thing to say. You are wishing ill something that is supposed to be based on love. Some Wiccans would consider this a curse, since we know that our thoughts affect our lives. Wiccans are supposed to be very careful about what they link. I hope you don’t really mean that. And it’s certainly not loving your percieved enemies, someone you have never even met for that matter!
We’re not just talking about a Catholic and a protestant getting married…we’re talking about a “Catholic” and someone who aware or inadvertantly is in league with Lucifer.
You know, Lucifer - the one that hopes to defeat Jesus Christ and His catholic church…that Lucifer.
Um…no. You make me laugh in a sick kinda way, actually believing that Wiccans worship the devil, a concept they don’t believe in. You just want them marked as evil because they don’t subscribe to your belief system. And conveniently, anything that doesn’t subscribe to your beliefs is inherently evil. How very convenient.
There is a strong possibility that she may have already used her wicca to seduce your son and muddle up his thinking and reasoning. Desensitizing his catholic upbringing.
Actually, that would be extremely contrary to the Wiccan Rede. Magick is never used for controlling a person in Wicca. Never. It is against all Wiccan values.
If there are any children from this “union”… they will also be in danger of demonic oppression.
Do you get all your information from Hollywood? You know those are just movies, right? And I thought Catholicism was agaisnt superstition!
Next time ask her to repeat verbatim, " Jesus Christ is come in the flesh". Verbatim! not just agreeing with you! That’s how you will no if she speaks with the Spirit of God or the spirit of the antichrist.
Again, drop the superstition. I’m Wiccan, I just said that, and no, I’m not englufed in flames. I don’t know what her views on Jesus Christ are, Wicca does value the teachings Jesus has on love. Plus, doing that would be super rude to the parents.

Next time, please read an actual book about Wicca written by a Wiccan, and don’t take anything you see in movies about witchcraft as truth…or I might have to fly to your house and turn you into a toad with one of my malicious potions!😃

love is greater than religion.

in mathimatical terms: love > religion
I’m not sure that this is good advice. It certainly isn’t the advice that I give my kids. while I realize that they might bring home somebody who isn’t Catholic, I always remind them that it is much easier if that other person is Catholic. I have given this advice since they were young. If I wait until they bring a non-Catholic home, they will just think I’m picking on that person.

Wicca isn’t some ancient pagan black magic devil worshipping black mass saying pack of Satanists. It was started in the 1950’s by a guy in England and is nothing more than relatively benign infantile nonsense. It seems to be populated mostly by immature people who watched too much TV, saw too many movies, and read too much Stephen King. They’re people who want to dress-up in costumes, belong to covens, play witch and cast spells. I’ve had a couple of Wiccans work for me, and while they’ve certainly been decent people, they never seem to have progressed beyond the make-believe stage of life and that has been reflected in other areas of their lives as well.

I’m sure some will disagree with me, but there’s no such thing as witches, warlocks, spells, black magic, white magic, monsters, gnomes, elves or Santa. The best thing you can do is just roll with it and hope they grow-up.

I do agree but I fail to see the difference between that and believing in angels, demons, transsubstantiation, amulets depicting saints, miracles, Satan, God, …

@Mystic Warrior: There is another thread going on labelled something like “Why do Hindus hate Christians so much?” It is exactly your attitude (“I belong to the good guys, everyone else is evil.”) that upsets people. If they encounter too many Christians of your type, they get annoyed and ultimately angry. But thanks to the gods there are others…

Yes they are good fiction…my favorite so far is “The Oath”…I didn’t really care for “This Present Darkness” or “Piercing the Darkness”…I have “The Prophet” I purchased at the Goodwill, but I haven’t read it yet…his writing has improved since his “Darkness” novels. I do not embrace such theology, but they are great entertainment in the “fiction” genre.🙂

The Wiccans I have known are Seekers. The depth of their spiritual lives have inspired me to go deeper into my own spiritual life.

They are very community and ecologically minded. They do a wide variety of volunteer work with the homeless. I am friends with a couple who do not practice “magic”, but utilize visualization and meditation. They seek to be kind decent people who take their spiritual lives quite seriously.

There is a “bias” against Wicca that runs deep within the Christian community which I think is unfortunate…and a bias in the Pagan community against Christianity…which in light of some of these posts may be justified.

Goodness, there are a lot of ill-informed generalizations in this thread. So any statement about “Wiccans are …” followed by a pronouncement on the maturity level/morality/etc of Wiccans is going to be prone to the same inaccuracies that the same kind of pronouncement about Catholics will be.

Wiccans are human beings like the rest of us. There are Wiccans who are good people and there are Wiccans who are bad people. There are Wiccans who are seriously reality-impaired and Wiccans who are pragmatic and grounded. There are people who don’t really practice Wicca but still call themselves Wiccan loudly and proudly to anyone who will listen, and there are Wiccans who are steeped in their religion and hold it very personal and dear. There are Wiccans who are in it mainly for the nature worship aspect, and there are Wiccans who are in it for the magic and who also are involved in chaos magic or ceremonial magic groups like the OTO.

I will say this, though. Wicca and all forms of orthodox Christianity are wholly incompatible with each other. A Christian who believes otherwise has fallen into relativism, something which is an integral part of Wicca but which is also incompatible with orthodox Christian belief. At the very least, the OP’s son’s willingness to become so close to a girl who is Wiccan strongly indicates that he is questioning his own faith, at the very least.

But the way to deal with it is NOT to go off on tangents about Lucifer and black magic and all that stuff. It doesn’t even matter if all that is true; this young man is the OP’s son, and he may be marrying this girl. It is not a good Christian witness to freak out in this way about something she cannot control.
