Does anyone know the Church’s teaching on fetishes or the tendency to be aroused by something that might not be considered normal?

Hmmm, I don’t think there is any kind of specific church teaching on fetishes, but I can say that if the fetish begins to take over the normal intimacy between a husband and wife to concentrate only on the pleasure of self by using the fetish, then the line may be crossed into sinful desire and lust. If that happens, then you do not function normally and possibly put your spouse into a position of being objectified which is sinful…
 
I could swear this is something in the CCC about it - but I can’t be sure. Will try to do a search if I can.

Edited to say - I did a search and couldn’t find anything in the CCC. Sorry. 😦
