Oh goodness I’m not offended by your reply at all.

I’m just issuing a sigh, nothing serious, like “you know, a guy just can’t get a break.”

I’m a very happy dude. I should have used a smilie face or something but those things sort of give me the creeps.

And I’m thrilled you’re here asking questions!!!
:tiphat: Oh good! I thought you were mad at me 🙂 Haha, you gave a good, simple honest answer and I should’ve been happy with that. Hey, I’m glad to be here. I’ve been around a while - feels kind of like a merry-go-round the past year and a half. I just can’t get what I’m supposed to be - Baptist, Buddhist or Catholic :o

God hasn’t left me completely alone to my bad devices yet and I just pray daily that He guide me through my idiotic episodes that I go through every few months 🙂

I learn daily from this site and the usually generous and kind people here have helped me tremendously even when I have been unkind. Thanks for your help.

Peace and blessings to you…

Catechism of the Catholic Church
sections on Creation sections 279-315
God creates a good and ordered world, sec. 299
Providence and the scandal of evil, sec 309-310
Man, creation of, sec 355-368
the Fall sec 384 ff

Man is created in God’s own image and likeness, which is wholly good, therefore man is created wholly good
read of course the book of Genesis, and the CCC footnotes and biblical references in cited section

also do a library search on CA home page for creation
Puzzleannie,

I also have a NAB Catholic Bible at home with study notes and commentary. I will look at Genesis and see what they say. I’m afraid it’s going to get pretty deep and I won’t be able to swim 🙂 .
Thanks…

Peace.
