**Liturgy of the hours- **This is the hourly prayer of the Church, prayed by all clergy (the priests and bishops, even the Pope himself) and all religious (monks, nuns, etc). It consists of a number of Psalms being prayed at different hours throughout the day. The principle hours are Lauds in the Morning and Vespers in the evening, with a number of daytime offices that occur in between, as well as night prayer (Compline). Each hour has its own Psalms, as well as a short reading from Scripture and, in the case of Lauds and Vespers, intercessory prayers on behalf of the Church, the world, the sick, etc.
