Well, again, it’s only my opinion, but my cautionary comments were directly in response to the shared world view you mentioned. If you’re looking for a green frog in the green grass while wearing green sunglasses, you may want to enlist the assistance of someone wearing another shade of glasses. Like any religion, school of thought or philosophy, Catholicism can be said to be a lot of things, including an aperture or lens through which the world can be viewed, and depending on the circumstances, another lens might be in order.
