Hello,

My mother, sister and I will be traveling to Europe this year.
I wanted to know if any of you know any monasteries or concerns where you could stay for the night, and possibly if you could also join in their spiritual activities.

Thanks!!

I believe there are whole books devoted to the subject.

Do a search for “monastery guesthouses europe” on Amazon.

Good luck!

Here is a web site that might be helpful:

goodnightandgodbless.com/

(Click on “Accommodation” for some monastery listings for various countries, or look on the home page for links to some books on this subject.)

monasterystays.com/

We visited Italy in 2007 and stayed in convents or monasteries everywhere but in Rome. Really neat and cheap way to travel in Italy.

Edited to add that when researching these places, make sure you understand all of their rules. Some close early (10 pm) and you can’t get in after that. There may be other rules like that that you need to know before you travel.

Peace

Tim

Thanks all, will look at those and keep in mind those recommendations.
I also found these, though not sure if you may stay in them.
