I was wondering what Catholics would think about someone pasting a sticker of a modified pentagram on their car. Specifically, I am referring to an inverted pentagram with a second pentagram (pointing up) drawn on top of it. The second pentagram has had its top point split in two with each side being rerouted to a nearby vertex. The creators call this symbol a “repentagram” and consider it to not be blasphemous. Would such a symbol be acceptable for a Catholic to paste on his/her vehicle, or wouild it be seen as repugnant in the eyes of the Church? This is a sincere question and NOT spam! It is common for young people to be influenced by pop culture, and this is especially insidious when the intention is to cloak something potentily evil as being good or harmless. Is this matter not of concern to the Catholic Church? I don’t see how it is irrelevant or spam. Thank you.

Marked over or not, the pentagram is still there, and it risks being provocative. Of both human and spirits.

“I” would not do it. Far better icons out there.

No pentagrams for me, in any shape, manner, form, or color—no matter their direction. The mere idea of such, regardless of the thinking or motivation of the originators, is disgusting.

Isn’t this just a rehash of an exact same thread that was deleted a few hours ago, which itself was a copy of another thread that was locked and deleted?
Exactly. The third thread asking the same question in less than 24 hours. I’m not flagging it (yet) but I would request @camoderator to take a close look.

We are either Catholic or pagan, we cannot be a little of each or both. The first Commandment states we shall have no other gods, idols. In accordance with this I would not. I would get a nice Catholic icon or Rosary, or car medal and display that in your car. The St Christopher Medal is good for travel. Many put the Rosary on their rear view mirror.
