I recently deleted my Facebook account, mainly because I didn’t like the negativity of a lot of the posts, plus due to privacy concerns. I found Catholic Answers, and I couldn’t be more thrilled! I love this site! It has bolstered my spirituality, and I love the godly advice for the problems we all face, not to mention knowing that people will pray for me if I ask.
My question is: Other than this website, of course, what are other Catholic websites that are your favorites? :blessyou:

Thanks and God Bless!

You will find many Catholic sites referenced on this forum in the posted responses. I have enjoyed following them. There are several bloggers amount this group and they have some great insights. But, within this site itself are many avenues, more than the average person can take in, for growth in the faith.

Here are some (in no particular order):
  • [The Vatican website (http://www.vatican.va/phome_en.htm) - Obviously a good one. 🙂
  • [The Catechism of the Catholic Church online (http://www.scborromeo.org/ccc.htm) - The Catechism is available in several places, but this one has a nice search engine that makes it pretty easy to navigate.
  • [Catholic Education Resource Center (http://www.catholiceducation.org/) - They have a great storehouse of articles on pretty much any topic you can think of.
  • [Catholic Culture (http://www.catholicculture.org/) - They have lots of stuff, but I really like their website reviews. Of course, their opinions are not infallible, but they come in handy to help quickly evaluate an unfamiliar Catholic website you may be wondering about.
  • [Catholic Hierarchy (http://www.catholic-hierarchy.org/) - This is a great place to go to find out about all the bishops of the world going back nearly 500 years.
  • [National Catholic Register (http://www.ncregister.com/) - They are owned by [EWTN (http://www.ewtn.com/) (which is also a good site). It’s a good place to go for Catholic news.
  • [St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology (http://www.salvationhistory.com/) - Ths is famed Catholic apologist/biblical theologian Dr. Scott Hahn’s apostolate. Loads of free Catholic Bible stuff, including some great Bible studies.
  • [Catholics United for the Faith (http://www.cuf.org/) - Another great repository of Catholic articles and Q&A’s. Their “Faith Facts” are especially helpful.
There are lots more, but here is a start for you. 🙂
