Great thread, I don’t know how many of these are out there but I really like the idea. In addition to what was already posted, I get a lot of mileage out of these (I’m interested in apologetics):

scripturecatholic.com/index.html
biblechristiansociety.com/
Ah yes!
biblechristiansociety.com/
I often heard John Martignoni make reference to this website on his EWTN Radio Open Line programme on Mondays!

Excellant Choices!

Of course I cannot forget any of these websites either:

ipadre.net/
technopriest.org/
patrickmadrid.blogspot.com/
fatherroderick.sqpn.com/

Whoa Tietjen!

That’s a lot of websites!

Well done! Thanks for submitting them!

Hopefully a lot of people will come across them and learn more about the Catholic Faith! That is the reason why I started this thread in the first place!

I see that you have the website of the Star Quest Production Network (SQPN) listed too. I guess you like listening to Catholic Podcasts as well as I do!

Thanks again!
I honestly never knew that there was so many Catholic websites out there! 🙂

By any chance were you at SQPN’s Catholic New Media Celebration this past June? I was sent there as an assignment by my “boss” at Saint-Mike.org. That conference was my introduction to SQPN.

I became a blogger after that conference. 🙂

Unfortunately I wasn’t at the SQPN Catholic New Media Celebration last June. But I heard it was a big hit! Fr. Roderick, Greg and Jennifer Willits put a lot of work into it as did many other people associated with Catholic New Media.

For those of you who are wondering what we are talking about here is a link to the website of the SQPN Catholic New Media Celebration: celebration.sqpn.com (Please note that it hasn’t been updated since the Catholic New Media Celebration took place in June 2008)

I hope there will be another one in 2009! 😃

I first heard about this website from a friend and within a couple of days it was advertised on relevant radio. 4marks.com/

I got tired of always retyping them, so I started a blog to keep track of my favorite Catholic websites. 🙂

The link to the blog is in my signature and all my favorite links are nicely categorized on the left-hand side. 😉

Edit: I should highlight Catholic Culture as I haven’t seen it mentioned yet. My favorite part of their site is the Review section where they review other Catholic websites. It’s very helpful when you come across a new website that you aren’t sure about. I appreciate the fact that they give detailed reasons when they urge caution about a particular site rather than just a general “stay away!”

I should also mention my own humble site that I recently created on the Catechesis of the Popes. I think the Wednesday audiences of the popes are severely underrated (with the possible exception of the “Theology of the Body”), so I wanted to organize links to the various audiences in an accessible way. It seemed to be something no one had done yet, so I thought it might be useful.

Wow! I’ve been researching Catholic websites for a couple of years, but you all mentioned some I’d never seen. Thanks! But (boo-hoo face) I didn’t see mine! If the Holy Spirit moves you, check it out: catholicpoetsandwriters.com . The resource page has hotlinks, too, like for a couple excellent Bible studies you can do online or by mail. Happy Holiday Surfing - Mary S.

The Holy Spirit has just moved me to take a look at your website!

Wow! What a unique Website!

I’ve never seen a Catholic Website that helps assist people in writing Catholic material!

Great work!

You are truly a humble worker in the Lord’s Vineyard! 🙂

Thanks for your encouragement, Ciaran. God bless you and your holy days - Mary S.

I do enjoy Catholic Podcasting, especially those podcasts related to apologetics (Catholic Answers Live, etc) and Traditional Catholic Music. Which brings me back to one other site I frequent:
  • Catholic Music Network
This is an outstanding resource for finding any genre of Catholic Music that you enjoy. Me, I love the traditional stuff (to include the Gregorian Chats) but they have modern stuff as well.
God bless and Merry Christmas!

If you like Gregorian Chants then I would recommend Father Jay Finelli’s podcast “The ChantCast”.

The link to the podcast can be found at ipadre.net/

God Bless
Ciaran
