Catholic wedding witness request

My wife and I were married by a judge of the court. We are now in the process of having our marriage convalidated, and have fulfilled the necessary requirements of the church except one - witnesses. For various reasons, our attempts at finding two people to be present for our simple ceremony have been unsuccessful. I would like to ask if anyone residing in Lake County, IL would be willing to help us marry in the Catholic church. Since this would not be a Mass, our parish Priest has allowed us short notice as to the date and time of our ceremony. We would be grateful for your time, and assistance. Thank you.

rcguy’s marriage is being convalidated today. I think it’s kind of neat that it’s happening on Pentecost.

I think its kind of unnusual that in a whole parish, nobody can be his witnesses, but that makes me grateful for my own parish.
