Good question. I put other, because, well, I’m just not much for labels and sorting. I’m a late life convert to Catholicism. As many other converts of my age, etc. whom I have come to know, I tend toward the orthodox in my philosophy and take on things. I’m more EWTN, and less The Catholic Channel. I accept the spirit of Vatican II. I wish that Latin was still in heavier usage, but I have no interest in the schismatic traditionalist catholic offshoots who find themselves in a sede vacantis state of being. I love Jesus Christ, and the sacramental life, and this is the Church the Holy spirit guided me to. The most important thing in my life is the Holy Eucharist. What is the distinction between “traditional” and “traditionalist”. If I had to pick a label, I suspect it’s something in one of those, unless by one of them is meant sede vacantism, in which case I would not be one of that one. I am registered at a Eucharist believing and loving Latin Rite, Roman Catholic Church, and have been since beginning RCIA there in 2005. How come “Orthodox Catholic” wasn’t a choice? Anyway…whatever this makes me.
Peace be with you,
