It is ridiculous play-acting. No one, even a bishop, has the authority to ordain a woman. These women are lost and don’t even know it. I will pray for their conversion.

Here’s the bishop involved at Trinity Lutheran church in Ohio last week: communityofstbridget.org/

"Bishop William Manseau, SBM, MA, D.Min., D.Min
Bishop at Large, St. Barnabas Mission

William Joseph Manseau was ordained as a Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Prelature bishop in the Roman Catholic Church on June 11, 2011 in the St. Barnabas Chapel at the Cathedral of St. Anthony in Detroit, MI for service in the International Society of the Apostles, Sts. Peter, Thomas and Mary Magdalene and its Vicariate of the Good Shepherd, the St. Barnabas Mission and the Ecumenical Catholic Diocese of America.

Out of curiosity…this is further research on this person:

We are an independent Catholic Diocese, a communion of local Church communities and ministries. We are committed to foundational Catholic teachings and beliefs. We are moving forward with the work begun by the Spirit at Vatican II toward being an inclusive and just Church.

We welcome Christians of all traditions and all people of good will to join us in our service to others and our worship.

History and Background

"The Ecumenical Catholic Diocese of America was incorporated on March 25, 1982 under the New York State Article 10 of Incorporation. It is incorporated under the name THE EPISCOPATE OF THE ECUMENICAL CATHOLIC CHURCH and the document states that it is the diocese and the denomination of the Ecumenical Catholic Church. Article 10 is the same article under which the Roman Catholic Churches are incorporated. The incorporation is as a Church, a Religious Corporation and a Corporation Not-For-Profit.

It looks like it is only composed of one diocese…itself. It is just a protestant denomination, not in anyway connected to the Catholic Church headquartered in Rome.

No comment also…😃

There you go. Wishing will NOT make it so, even if you have ruby slippers and click your heels three times, nothing happens but automatic excommunication. AND, not oddly enough, I see the very disturbing trend of these deluded ladies to be lesbians or hooked-up with a lesbian. Yet another dead-end lifestyle. BTW, anything to do with the Catholic Church in the LA Times must be taken with a bushel of salt, almost always anything that they write about the Church is usually a hit-piece or very poorly researched material or a “Poll” that questioned a small sample of lapsed or “twice a year Catholics.”

All these “Independent Catholic” and “Sophia Trinity” churches have to stop claiming to be Catholic. There is One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic faith and those others are in schism. It’s my hope that those ‘ordained’ women and schismatic ‘bishops’ come back to the OHCAC, but only after much, much confession.

The “womanpriest” sympathizers need to stop claiming to be Lutheran, too. 😦

Does not matter what they want to call themselves, their ordinations are illicit…period!

Sorry but many if not most Lutherans worldwide are ordaining women priests, deacons and bishops. So far, there aren’t any female archbishops among Lutherans but the day is coming. The Episcopal church’s presiding bishop [equivalent to archbishop] is a woman.

Sadly so.

The gracious Katherine certainly aspires to be something like an Archbishop. Witness her use of a patriarchal crozier. But the Episcopal Church knows of no such thing. I do not say the the gracious K will not achieve some form of her desired ecclesiastical polity. But there is no single authority higher than the diocesan bishop in TEC.

The trick is this. If a bishop, validly ordained, but schismatic, heretical, excommunicated, whatever, attempts a sacramental function (say, ordination) and all relevant sacramental factors are valid (matter, form, intent, subject) then the ordination would be valid, but illicit. If one or more of the sacramental factors are not valid, then the ordination would be not illicit, but was invalid. That is to say, I don’t think one can have an invalid and illicit sacramental action. And in the case here, there was no valid ordination. Hence the judgement is invalid rather than illicit.

Always ready to learn more.

Interesting articles of a group of Roman Catholic women being ordained priests. In this case the ordaination will be in San Francisco. It is no surprise that the ordination today is to occur at the notorious Ebenezer Lutheran Church.

davidperry.com/maria-eitz-to-be-first-female-catholic-priest-ordained-in-san-francisco.html

I googled it and also found the announcement on the front page of the LA Times:

latimes.com/news/local/la-me-female-priests-20130526,0,2491697,full.story

Any thoughts?

Amen…makes me wanna cry…I saw some of this women priest stuff on the news regarding a group I believe in Florida…little girls want to join the Boy Scouts, little boys want to wear dresses and attend school in Co…High School girls want to play High School football…it goes on and on…women want to be priests let them join the Lutheran or Episcopal church…anyone who says the Church is not in Crisis, i.e. His Eminence Cardinal Dolan at a Knights of Columbus meeting ,respectively, need to keep up with whats going on in the church…I’t not so much that there are femals wanting to call themselves Priests…help me with this…and Bishops oficiating at the so called ordination…but it’s the fact that there are lay people who not only support this but attend the so-called Mass’s offered…there is ‘them’ and there is ‘us’…I am becoming increasingly conservative…I think it was Pope Benedict that said the Church of the future would be smaller, but more devout…Pax
