I recently stumbled accross a set of propaganda videos by a certain Mexican organization, Catolicas por el Derecho a Decidir (CDD). There are twelve short cartoons, all providing enlightenment on aspects of the faith which I was previously unaware. They have only translated five into English, but this is enough to get the point.

Episode 1: A Better Church
The bigot Fr. Beto will not take Sister Juana on as a priest. The Church is a bigoted, patriarchal institution that must allow women to be priests.

Episode 2: Joy and Hope
The dogmatic Vatican II document “Gaudium et Spes” states that women should let their conscience be the deciding voice in the choice to use contraception. Sexual intimacy is a way to grow closer to other people and the threat of children should not have to be a consideration.

Episode 3: Sister Juana’s Dream
The good Lord himself orders the Church to stop excommunication those who abort their children. It’s their freedom of conscience. Note also that God is not omniscient and does not know people’s intentions.

Episode 4: Sister Juana Keeps Dreaming
Sister Juana states that the first thing that comes to mind when she sees the pope is pederasty. God(ess) is incredulous at first, but thanks to the revelation of Sister Juana, comes to learn that bishops have been abusing children and covering it up.

God(ess): “What kind of Church is this? I’m going to fire everyone responsible for covering up these crimes. I have to tell Jesus!”

Episode 5: Electoral Sins
Fr. Beto is at it again, committing the great crime of speaking about politics. This is against Mexican law. No Church can be above the Mexican Constitution after all.

Yes, I realize this material is false. I am posting it for your amusement. Please do not ban me.

I spit out my soup, that was hilarious. But last time I checked there are no men running Hermana’s order, so I guess her nuevo teología only works one way.

The dogmatic Vatican II document “Gaudium et Spes” states that women should let their conscience be the deciding voice in the choice to use contraception. Sexual intimacy is a way to grow closer to other people and the threat of children should not have to be a consideration.
GS also says “But in their manner of acting, spouses should be aware that they cannot proceed arbitrarily, but must always be governed according to a conscience dutifully conformed to the divine law itself, and should be submissive toward the Church’s teaching office, which authentically interprets that law in the light of the Gospel”. And last time I checked, the Church’s teaching office came down on the side of forbidding contraception. I guess her nuevo teología only works one way

Last time I checked, the good Lord himself said, “whatsoever thou shalt bind upon earth, it shall be bound also in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose upon earth, it shall be loosed also in heaven”. So her nuevo teología only works one way.

Let’s move on, sister. Make way for the nuevo teología.
Episode 5: Electoral Sins

It’s a good thing Hermana promotes obedience to civil authority, even when it violates natural and divine positive law. But as I said above, her nuevo teología only works one way.

I am greatly distressed that the Mexican people, once pious Catholics, are being targeted through outright heresy as this illustrates, but also through so-called social justice groups which enlighten them regarding their rights to contraception, abortion and same-sex marriage. Once these evils are accepted, it is easy to lose the rest of their faith to the Protestant/Evangelical movement. I just read that 400,000 Latinos a year from South and Central America convert to other charismatic faiths. The recent influx of Hispanics to Protestant churches in the south for instance, bears out this very sad fact.
