I’m not big on guilt and I certainly don’t have “guilt” for being white, any more than I have “guilt” for being female, or for being born in the city where I was born. As the other guy said, I had no control over any of that, so if somebody wants to have a problem with me over it, then it’s their problem, not my “guilt” or my problem. Nor do I hang around with people who sit around feeling guilty over themselves.

I’ve just spent the day being inundated with discussion of implicit bias and microaggressions… 🤐

I am white and I have zero guilt for any of these historical global discussion points.

While I have zero guilt I do have anger and contempt for people who try to push that racist line.

I think that when people try to force guilt on a whole people in such a way it is evil. There are no exceptions. The fact that some people have been taught to think this evil is a good makes the whole concept worse.
