I’ve been an avid Christian forum participant since 2001— the forums that I have come across have helped me immensely to grow as a Christian, since while my Mother tried her best, my parents did not bring me up in a Christian home.
Since becoming Catholic in 2005, I’m noticing that I’m not allowed at most Christian discussion forums. As soon as people find out I’m Catholic, I feel as if they turn against what I have to say or at least don’t see anything positive in what I have to say. I’m shocked that so many Christians don’t realize where their faith comes from. One of the reasons why I was drawn to Catholicism was because of the Church’s roots. Since when are Protestant beliefs the “orthodox” beliefs?
I’m having happy to have a home like Catholic Answers, but I do feel sad for not feeling welcomed where I once was.
