It came to me that if we can trace Christs Linage back to Adam and Eve
and catholic evolutionists believe that Genesis speaks of not literal days but each day can represent long periods of time say millions of years then how would a catholic evolutionist explain that the 6th and last day of creation clearly shows that Adam was created and lived around 6000 years ago?
I mean why did God not spend Millions of years on Adam? Christ did not have his linage traced back to an ancestor of Adam but to Adam who we know lived around 6000 years ago? Compelling I think.
something to consider with this is the fact that when God created man he also created woman and it clearly tells us in the Bible that NO woman was to be found so God had to create woman.
It seems to me that a catholic evolutionists would have to believe that Adam was not specially made in the Image and likeness of God, and I just can’t understand how some people get around this?
Thanks for reading all answers are welcome.
