Hello -

I am looking to see if there are references or guides on Catholics and meditation. I have one book by Father Thomas Keating, but wanted to see if anyone any other suggestions or thoughts/ideas regarding meditation and the Catholic faith.

Peace,
George.

Welcome to CAF, George. 🙂

Fr. Thomas Dubay’s Fire Within is an excellent exposition on prayer as seen in Scripture and the writings of Sts. Teresa of Jesus and St. John of the Cross.

st ignatius spritual exersises is one of the best, it is used by the jesuits during a 30 day retreat but can be adapted to everyday life without having a guide. doing the exersises will draw you to a deeper knowledge and connection to god
