**Do you think that it is wrong for God to kill those who He has reason to kill?
**
The Caananites were wiped out as well. There is another example.

No man may kill innocents, but God may “call to Himself” anyone at any time, for His own reason.

My opinion is that those who SEEM to have been innocents who were killed under order of God Himself might have been given a special “grace” of mercy in their “getting to heaven”, as they MAY not have been at all culpable for their “sins” (because they were only doing as their proper authorities [kings/society] demanded of them), and therefore due no “eternal punishment” for their sins.

((Of course, if this killing was done BEFORE Jesus opened heaven, then they went to sheol, and not heaven or hell, properly speaking.))

Being killed is NOT necessarily a punishment. And doing God’s will is not a sin, as God is God and is to be followed, and has His reasons.
Not at all all of His judgments are just.

I agree with you.

Blessings to you and yours

Why does the thread title say “Jesus (PBWH)”? Muslims believe in a man named Issa, not Jesus. Despite what they claim, Jesus and Issa are *not *the same.

Is Issa really Jesus?

Jesus is not in Islam:

Hi i have checked out the links they seem to contain lots more than just what we are talking about.

Can you clarify for me does it offer that the personage is different because the quran says God gave him the gospel but does not speak of the other 3?

I am no scholar.

Peace and blessings

Catholics believe Jesus (PBWH) ordered the killing of idol worshipers.

Muslims don’t teach Jesus (PBWH) ordered any killing.

Please pray to your Deity before you post and post with peace trying to see others point of view.
Their is no proof in your statments; if you feel their is proof post your links.

You misunderstand me, apparently.

His judgements are always perfectly just, perfectly good, and perfectly wise. His judgements are never in any way evil.

That we can’t see how all His judgements are perfect in their justice, goodness and wisdom is only a comment on how human understanding fails when considering the will of God.

Do you REALLY think that God can do evil, as rendering unjust justice is an evil?

I dont have any links, i am not a web researcher, if you read the other posts a replying some explain it very well.

You dont believe Jesus (pbwh) is God, FOR me it does not make difference as long as you see Jesus (pbwh) is the way to the Father.

But for the thread, almost all Catholics have agreed that Jesus (pbwh) is God.

Muslims say Jesus (pbwh) was given the Holy spiitt / pure spirit.

God bless you sorry i dont have links for you but if you read previous posts its well covered.

I found it hard to believe that you didn’t think that. 🙂

…but I had to respond to such an “interesting” statement! I’m sure you understand why I wanted you to clarify that, or explain what the heck you were talking about. Thanks for clarifying.

Actually, after looking at the wording of you post, it looks like I WAS THE ONE who misread what you wrote!

You didn’t make a typo, it seems, though you might have used a comma between the "all"s for clarity. 🙂

Thanks again. Best to you!

Dear Brothers/Sisters,

Perhaps, our brother Steven John has mistaken with the Crusades. Well, Steve, the crusades was not formally authorised by the Church, let alone by Jesus.
The Crusades were most certainly authorized by the Church, and quite justifiably so. For instance, the Council of Clermont, under Pope Urban II, offered a plenary indulgence to anyone who embarked on the first crusade (for the right reasons, of course).

If there was ever a just war, it was the first crusade. Obviously, any abuses and crimes (eg. killing of Jews by travelling crusaders) which occurred during the actual execution of the Crusades were not authorized by the Church.

Dear Dauphin,

I agree that Pope Urban II authorized it. But, he did not issue any sort of “encyclical letter” for that. So, the crusades was not a formal teaching of the RCC. As a personal blessing of the Pope, yes I agree. As a formal teaching, No.

Well, I must admit given the situation at that time, and if I were Pope Urban II, I might do the same out of my human weaknesses.
