I just want you to be honest. If it’s your quote, it’s your quote. If it’s someone else’s quote, cite the source like a good apologist would. You lose all credibility when you don’t - it’s dishonest and is akin to stealing and lying to pass it off as yours.

As far as the way I treat people - I think your posts speak loads for themselves.

I am about as happy in my vocation and church as I could be. As far as lost… I’ve never been more found and at peace with my God and my faith.

Wrong again, OTCA. Sorry.

If you are totally at peace, then why are you here? Furthermore, I only have to answer to God. No one can judge me except Him.

I am totally at peace; I assumed I was welcome here, since I was invited by a priest several years ago. If I’m not welcome here, just say the world.

Yes. You are absolutely correct on that one, which is why I’d think twice about that, OTCA, if you take sin, confession and repentance seriously. However, if you think you’re furthering the cause here, I suspect you are wrong, since your Catholic brothers and sisters have also taken you to task here and you poo-poo them off as well.

I think you have a problem with humility and honesty, quite frankly. And i will pray for you.

Really? What do you know about sin, and confession? Do you practice pennance? If you don’t you can’t preach what you don’t practice.

I know all about sin, confession, repentance, and penace. And penance is one “n”, not two.

Since you’re throwing it all back on me instead of dealing with it yourself, it is safe to say that when you know you have been caught, you lash out at others instead of take responsibility for yourself. Everyone sees it, OTCA.

You’re a noisy gong and clanging cymbal, OTCA. You avoid questions posed to you, never consider that you could be wrong, while at the same time expecting answers of others all of the time.

I am not Catholic, but I have enormous respect for Catholicism. Whether you believe that or not is up to you. But I am slowly losing respect for you because of your arrogance. It has nothing to do with Catholicism - it has to do with you. And since other Catholics often tell you the same thing, I am confident that in this case, it is you who have the problem.

Maybe one of these days you will figure that out.
 
I can not believe the hostility and this thread. I have had problems with the same person. I just wonder when some one is being so hostile are they trying to convience me or themself. If they are at inter peace in what they believe, they can get their point across in a loving mannaer. Just my two cents.😉

You should not use ALL CAPS when using Internet applications. This is important! If you use all caps you are YELLING at someone, not emphasizing a point. Unless you really are upset and wish to yell at someone, use normal sentence case. Internet users can be very touchy about this. They will know you are a newbie and if they are in a bad mood they may send you a nasty reply (flame) or get others to spam you.

I find it funny how you people here are all sinners, yet have so much to say about others. I do not see one Catholic here criticizing me except the ones who are recent converts to Catholicism. Perhaps they still feel the need to defend them.

I asked you a question, and that was if you practice peNNance. A simple yes or no would suffice. Seeing that YOU DO NOT, don’t preach what you don’t practice…especially peNNance…:whistle: And as far as your feelings about me, I doubt if I will lose sleep over it.

What do you think would be a good penance for someone who steals other people’s work and passes it off as their own?

Of course penance is for after you actually make a good Confession. For that, you have to be truly sorry about what you’ve done. 🤷
