"Catholics Come Home" ad on Kennedy Center Honors tonight

I caught part of the section for Meryl Streep on the 34th Annual Kennedy Center Honors this evening… At the break the “Catholics Come Home” ad ran (English National). I’m not sure I’ve seen the ad on mainstream TV. This was certainly “prime time”.

Yes, I’ve been seeing it lately…and saw it tonight too. I loved it! I’m glad they are running it.

I caught it on a different channel / program but I agree with you…it was so good to see that on main stream TV.

I wonder if they have made any attempts to put it on ABC Family like when the 700 Club is on. They have commercials about visiting Israel…I think it would be a great spot to put that commercial. I think there could be a lot of drifting Catholics who come across the 700 Club and start watching and the Catholics Come Home commercial might be the seed that gets planted in their hearts to come back. I know I enjoy watching that program but don’t always agree with some of the things Pat Robertson says (divorce, marriage without counseling, etc). That’s how I strengthened my Catholic roots (listening to a Protestant teach false doctrine).

Makes me proud to be a Catholic!
