From what I’ve read, George Soros put up the money to found CFC. I have a few friends who are members, or who at least are members in the sense that they liked them on Facebook. I’ve argued with them about it and now some of them are ex-friends. One told me he was so happy to find a priest who agreed the group. I told him he needed to look for better priests.
The biggest problem I’ve encountered with CFC is that it makes moderately pro-life Catholics feel uneasy about their (lack of a) stance and more likely to tell genuine Catholics that they should be more accepting of these fraudulent Catholic’s pro-death stance.
