Catholics, how important is it for us to bring the Protestant (and Orthodox?) Christians back to our big family?

A single answer would be: very important.

It is not that simple, however.

Do we have a priority for converting the non-Christians? Is it better 9or not) to convert those into Catholicism because it is easier/harder, so it is more effective and more results?

That question itself is a very utilitarianism approach, and while there is nothing evil about it, there is something wrong with just considering that without considering the moral values.

Then again, whether one lives like a Catholic is another topic that is perhaps not to be discussed here.

All souls are important and the will of God is to save as many as possible. And this is what we are fighting for today. The battle of God and satan has already taken place in heaven, The place the war is waged now is here on earth. The goal of evil it to drag as many souls to eternal damnation as possible. Thus the two forces which wage the war in real time with mankind. mankind is the war of good and evil, that is our history.

Conversion isn’t the process, its the end result.

The process is love trust and faith is Jesus Christ which leads to honest communication in redemption and penance. Its truly seeking God as an individual. When we seek God as a soul, God seeks our soul. This is a predesigned union since the beginning of time, and is defined by Christ and His walk toward the Cross. Jesus Christ is the pure example and the Apostle Pauls teaching is about as pure as it gets.

Man in his own self-serving destination avoids the process. He does so by searching for instant gratification on a worldly level which cripples the process of seeking God through picking up His Cross as Jesus did, The Cross is the focus and the way.

When one soul is consumed with God, that soul automatically brings other souls on its journey to God, This is the point evil enters the equation, right from the on-set.

Just a positive attitude grows so does a negative. The process doesn’t become harder as we travel the path, it becomes easier. The initial investment is the area of concern.

Of course there are many levels of confusion all which are simply a distraction of the truth. Personally I believe its supernatural and the work of evil.

The extremes we see here on CAF range from one end of the spectrum to the other. In-between stands the confusion. Within this process of teaching many are saved, some are lost. But all hear the truth and have the free-will to chose. The point being they hear the truth and see the example constantly placed before them through Christ and the Saints and the faithfull followers of Christ and the Mystical Body of Jesus Christ.

Not sure if there is an absolute answer here for you. Just my passing throughts on the idea of raising the conscious level of all Christianity to bring a greater period of peace as opposed to destruction.

My greatest concern is with the Orthodox Church, I feel the closness to them and desire to see the resolution happen at this point. From there I believe the goal becomes much more realistic and obtainable.

It is, and has always been FACT that “All Salvation” MUST and DOES flow the CC. As EVERY SOUL is seen by God and the CC as having equal merit and worth; it matters not who is converted; BUT that we DO endeavor to convert ALL who are outside the CC.

John 10:16 And I have other sheep, that are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will heed my voice. So there shall be one flock, one shepherd.

**Acts.20:28 **“Take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church [SINGULAR] of God which he obtained with the blood of his own Son. “

1 Cor. 1: 10” I appeal to you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree and that there be no dissensions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment.”

Is to be read in the reflected light of: Mark.10: 27 "Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God.” And I would Add…THROUGH GOD using us.

EACH of us is to endeavor to Know, LIVE, and SHARE our Faith. Walk close ot God; and He’ll walk close to us!
