Thanks for the offer. I should have been more careful not to derail this thread’s original topic, so I plan to bow out of it for now. I see that there is already another thread on the Immaculate Conception still going on. It might be better for me to just sit on the sidelines for a while.

Or, continue on this one too. You have some important concerns. All worthy of further interest but probably each deserving of their own thread.

Structure of the Church and Its authority.

New Revelation as opposed to further understanding of what has been revealed. ( As you probably already guessed, I firmly believe that the Church only teaches and makes dogma on that which we have deeper understanding about what has already been revealed )

Mary and the Immaculate Conception worthy of several threads. Just the doctrine itself, Mary as the New Eve, typology of Mary and the Ark ( my favorite, scripture is simply beautiful on that one!)
