Ummm, well the book we’re talking about happens to be the (written) inspired word of God. I would suggest that book is worth not forgetting. With regard to seeking God, I would suggest that book is a good place to start. But I would also suggest that since Christ setup the sacraments, in a specific way, then if you want to personally interact with God the best way to do so is through them. What if you could forget your books, and live in a place without books? Would you then seek God?
With regard to Miricles (generally adding to an unquoted post). I to have experienced miricles in my life. It is the miricle of God guiding my mentally ill and dependant (i.e. drug/alch) right where he needed to be to seek treatment or rather… Be forced in to treatment. My brother has his struggles still but he’s doing much better and I thank God every day for this. In fact in large part it was percisly this which brought me back (with avengance) to the Church Christ Jesus set up him self.
So anyone who says miricles will change your life, yes they will I agree entirly.
