Catholics seem to have exclusively of binding and loosing. Of the holy spirit.

But other christian religious denomination. Seem to have the same holy spirit.

What separates the catholic application with who other religious denominations?

Christ only founded one church. That is the main reason, I suppose. I think the word “denominations” is a bit of a misnomer. There is the one true church, that is to say the Catholic Church and then there are “ecclesial communities” that are commonly known as “denominations”. In the Catholic church resides the fullness of the Faith.

Because the power of binding and loosing was given specifically and exclusively to the Apostle Peter. The other Apostles, and their successors the modern bishops, have this power through St Peter. It’s clear that this power was not given to St Peter to be the only holder, but that it should be shared with the other Apostles; because Peter could not be everywhere at once, the Successor to Peter cannot be everywhere at once, AND the very ministry of the bishops is to hold and exercise that power to bind-and-loose for the good of His people. So this isn’t about simple numbers (no pope could be available to hear everyone’s confession) but that this power is proper to the Apostles, yet still depending upon receiving it through Peter.

The Orthodox are also true Churches, and their bishops have true Apostolic Succession. They likewise have power to bind and loose but again through St Peter.

Catholicism is not a denomination, but a religion. Non-Catholic denominations (properly called ecclesial communities) do not have Apostolic Succession and do not have the fullness of being true Churches.

In a word: TRUTH,

“Their cannot be your truth and my truth or there would be no truth”
FATHER HARDON, one f the most esteemed theologians of the 20th Century} taught this about TRUTH:

So then my friend HOW can we know that the RCC is the keeper of the KEYS to heaven’s gate?

PLEASE do not take my comments as any sort of attack; I’m just being candid

The Bible is a Catholic Book, assembled and authored by Catholics and at that time eXCLUSIVELY for Catholics who were the ONLY the ONLY Christian at the time it was fully authored: …The End of the st Century.

Hence it needs to be read with this understanding in mind

Secondly logic seems to dictate that the great and ever expanding multiplicity of Protestant churches** denies truth, which the HS cannot as GOD do.

** Every “church” is identified by its FREELY chosen set of faith beliefs, but in TRUTH there can be bot One True set of Faith beliefs; that entrusted to Perter with the Key’s

100% absolutely agreed.

Could you explain this further and in more detail? How does an Orthodox bishop bind and loose through St. Peter if they are not in full communion with the Bishop of Rome and deny the supremacy Saint Peter and his successors held and hold as it relates to binding and loosing?
