But is this what Our Lord commissioned His followers to do in the Gospels? Let’s take a look at what it actually says, okay?

Matthew 28: [18] And Jesus coming, spoke to them, saying: All power is given to me in heaven and in earth. [19] Going therefore, teach ye all nations; baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. [20] Teaching them to observe everything that is in the Bible: and behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world.
Are you sure that passage is not supposed to read like this? 😉

I really wonder if DFWChristian really went to a Catholic Mass, because, really, to walk into Holy Mass is to walk into the Book of Revelations, as the famous Catholic convert Scott Hann realized when he walked into a Holy Mass for the first time.

I mean, really.

EDIT: Aww, the mp3s were removed from the free listening audio library of EWTN. What a shame. Sorry guys.

True, I apologize for lumping all Protestants together, it was late and I was typing fast. Please accept my apology if I offended.
No offense taken, at one time I had no idea there was any other view! 😃 This “rupture” doctrine is so stressed in some evangelical circles, that they will break fellowship w/you if you hold to another eschatological view. "So and so doesn’t believe in “the rupture”, are they even saved?!

Dear DFWChristian,
I am not a scholar or a theologian, just a simple bible study student. I would like to tell you that if you are serious about finding out what Catholics realy believe and say at mass. Ask a priest or join a bible study. Don’t ask your barber to fix your car or your dentist to fix your tv. If you have questions about the Catholic faith, go to the source. I would love to answer or debate any questions you might have. If I can’t answer the question, we can look it up together. God bless
