CBP Missal Set vs. MTF Daily Roman Missal

Opinions please. Which of the two are the better missal in your opinion?

i previously owned and used the St. Joseph Sunday Missal and found it quite adequate. This time i wanted a daily/Sunday combination since life is now affording me the ability to make daily Mass. The only drawback to the MTW, which i received two weeks ago, is it is a thick book. Following the Mass is not dificult since it is laid out quite well. The St. Joe in 4 volumes means less weight and thickness, but i do not have a problem with the MTF, although some might. Really just a matter of preference, and possibly finance since the 4 volume St. Joseph set will cost more.

I have in the past used the St. Joseph. I’m awaiting the arrival of my new MTF. I saw an MTF in a store last week and paged through it. It seemed superior in every way.

I believe it is only three volumes.

For many years I have used the MTF Missal and will continue with the new translation.

You are correct. two daily and one Sunday. I mis spoke(typed)

One thing to factor in here is that the CBP version has a zipper closure on each volume.

That might be something people prefer to have, or prefer not to have.

Personally, I think it would get a bit annoying after a while.

MTF for me, love it - except for the size.
