CCC 393 explanation

We know from the doctrine of Holy Fathers that : “what in the case of man is death is a fall in the case of angels. For after the fall there is no possibility of repentance for them.” (Saint John of Damascus)

I want a more explanation of the reason why isn’t possible a repent, a changing of mind of demons? Is the case that they 1. Don’t have body, this is the reason for their impossibility?
2 is the reason that they have another way of thinking and knowledge and they know the results of their decision but continue to chose is?

Or what are the reason for the mind of demons can’t be changed ?
 
If, by demons, you refer to the fallen angels, their will was fixed permanently at their creation to be opposed to the will of God. The fate of humans is set at death, when the soul separates from the body. Are you looking for writings? Searching the works of St. Thomas Aquinas would give you more insight.
 
I don’t think God creates anyone with a purpose to fail. They have free will yes, but God didn’t WILL them to disobey.
What was fixed at their creation was free will.
It was not until they refused to serve Christ that they fell.
 
The key may be the nature of angels.

Perhaps, unlike their human counterpart, angels are pure spirit, so there is no particular or final judgement for them. Nor is there a means for them to receive sacraments (specifically reconciliation), because the sacraments were instituted by Jesus, God incarnate, for other humans, and not for beings created by God that had a pure spirit and not human nature.

Angels, like us, because they are rational beings, do have free will…unfortunately for them, once their exercise of free will is disobedience or rebellion, there is no means of repentance or absolution.
 
All beings, human and angels, are created with free will, and always have free will. If you thought I indicated otherwise, I apologize. Upon receiving the Beatitude of Heaven, our will is still free, but becomes fixed on the good.
 
Yes, i understand. I would say it is commonly accepted the angels had a period of trial and mad the choice. Being outside of my conception of linear time, would you say I wrongly stated it this way?
 
You implied that God intended then to fail, for a purpose.
