I’m ok with sincere muslims. I do not like Islam which advocates violence. The Catechism speaks of good Muslims who sincerely try to seek God and may fall under the invincible ignorance. It speaks the truth. Remember, “to whom much is given, much is expected.” They may never meet a true form of christianity and may only hear of a distorted version. So, I will leave it to God to judge these and any other people.
I agree they only can be accountable with what they know and are taught.

We know as Catholic’s Salvation comes from Christ. We know it, we believe it and we teach it.

But we also know of the promise God made to Abraham, That all Christ’s faithful who as people of faith are daughters and sons of Abraham are included in the same patriarch’s call and that salvation of the Church is MYSTICALLY PREFIGURED in the exodus of Gods chosen people from the land of bondage.

So with that said, although we may not all perfectly understand it, somehow the Church is connected to the Jews and Muslims. Because as Christ teaches us with the olive branch we are somehow grafted together.

The Church believes that Christ who is our peace has through his cross reconciled Jews and Gentiles and made them one in himself. Eph 2:14-16.
