Ccd Preschooler games & activities

I’m a new ccd teacher and I could really use your help and suggestions for fun game fillers /activities for preschoolers. Web sights, books etc? Things to keep them moving for five or ten minutes. Things I can make easy. Fun crafts? Thank you for your ideas.

www.catholicmom.com has TONS of stuff for free. It’s all user created content, and there are lots of activities, coloring pages, crafts, etc.

Also www.catholicchild.com catalog has lots of good stuff, but it’s all for purchase.

Kids that age usually enjoy color, cut, and paste type activities. Just do something that goes with whatever the story is for the week, cut out Daniel and put him in the lion’s den, cut out Jesus and put him in the River Jordan, cut out Peter and put him on top of the water, whatever.

Having them act out the story is something else they enjoy. Just make it simple, you read the story and have them do actions, walking, talking, knocking on the door, rowing, whatever. You can also have them repeat key words for them story.
