CCHD: It’s worse than we Thought!

This Sunday, November 22nd 2009, the Catholic Church in America will hold its annual charitable campaign; the Catholic Campaign For Human Development (CCHD). Before you give this campaign your hard-earned money, please take a few moments to watch these videos and read the information provided. The CCHD has, previously, funded pro-abortion, pro-prostitution, pro-homosexual groups opposed to the mission of the Catholic Church.

Is history repeating itself again?

I thought the Church’ bishops would realize that politics is not their role in the world but of the laity, right?

Where does Michael Voris get his sources?
 
I’ve watched all of Michael’s Vortex video’s on the CCHD and he does quote sources. My husband and I decided not to contribute to the CCHD this year and hope that it will be reformed so that next year we can contribute. We will give the money to the St. Vincent de Paul Society in addition to our regular monthly contribution to them.

The bishops have got to start standing up for Catholic teachings!!! God bless the bishop of Rhode Island who instructed P Kennedy to refrain from the Eucharist. May other bishops follow his example.
 
I wish videos like this would go into more detail on how some of these groups promote things like abortion and prostitution. There was a lot of, “The Bishops give money to group “X”. Group “X” is in cahoots with group “Y” and group “Y” supports prostitution.” Well that certainly isn’t good, but HOW does group Y support prostitution? How is group X associated with group Y?

I have no doubt some shady stuff is going on, I’m just curious about the details.
