Here is the report by Reform CCHD Now.

Well, I was going to show my fiance this craziness, but I noticed the USCCB had taken down the CCHD booklet. I was irked, so I googled.

I found this blog which provided this link. If you click that link, you will see the booklet in it’s original pdf format. Did they really think they could take it down and hide it?

I’ve had a look at the stations, and they seem very self-congratulatory.

This self-congratulatory, self-promotion flies in the face of the meaning and spirituality of the stations, which aim to put Our Lord first then follow him not the other way around. As far as I’m concerned it’s like using Jn4:14 out of context (but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst;) In order to sell branded water

Liberation theology is a wonderful thing (/sarc)

I’ve got no problem with social justice, but when it’s stuck into the stations of the cross it really is out of place. If I wanted to know about the progress of CCHD I’d go to their website or go to an info session. If I want to reflect on the death and suffering of my Lord and Savior I’ll go to stations of the cross.

Isn’t it interesting that abortion is the canary in the coal mine? When where you follow leads you to an acceptance of abortion, you know that whatever motives led you there have been corrupted to a bad end, or were in error in the first place. It makes it oh so difficult for some to hide behind a veneer of justice.
