So I’ve looked all over for an answer to this question, and I cannot find one. I unintentionally came across photos on social media of people wearing no clothes at all, however everything wasn’t pixelated would this be considered a sin or not. They did not make me feel any lust towards the person in the photo, I just saw them, and scrolled on from there.

Scruple. There is no intent to see them, and you did not dwell on them.

I think your best bet will be to stay away from social media so you won’t be exposed to naked people!

While there was no intent, I did keep seeing this photo. This person usually never posts photos like this, and I follow them on five different social media sites, and it popped up in the most recent posts on all my feeds.

I might recommend blocking them though. (Or reporting the photos, or unfollowing, or some combination of the above) Especially if you think this will continue to be a recurring problem.

I probably will end up reporting it, because not only was there a photo but there was a video to go along with it. I watched just to see what it was about, because it had the title Christian boy tries, and I couldn’t see the rest of the title till I started watching. You couldn’t see anything cuz it was blurred, but I’m worried that even tho it didn’t cause lust, that it was still so full cuz he meant for the video to come off that way cuz he was unboxing adult toys.

I’d go to confession just to be safe. If the priest says it’s not a sin because you didn’t intend to do so then so be it.

Thanks to all for the replies, went to confession today, and just based on how I explained the video to the priest he knew right away that it qaulified as porn.
