Personally, I think we should just make a thread all about Copyright Laws and whatnot, and make it a “sticky!” XD

The issue of copyright is so tricky. When I find a Christian site authoritatively claiming that all cartoons are copyright free, following the cartoon to its source sometimes reveals that this may not be the truth There is no way of knowing if the copyright has expired or if only certain people can use it. I have posted one or two cartoons on the clean jokes forum and then suffered some anxiety because there is contradictory evidence about copyright (they have been removed).
If copyright wasn’t serious, I would be posting cartoons left right and center, but sadly, with the gift of being able to post cartoons on CAF, comes the responsibility to CAF and my soul. Sigh. Aw I’m not going to be defeated - I will winkle out as many copyright free ones as I can lay my hands on.
