I know the position of Catholic Answers, but I wonder if a similar ban on the discussion of “women’s ordination” is also in force? If so, perhaps we can draw something from this…

i also agree with father. we must be very carefull with new introductions into the Church. this prayer seems no more than what budhists and eastern religions way of prayer which is the way they find God. these people dont believe in Jesus, they reject our Lord. our Lord taught us how to pray. why go to eastern religion to find God is beyong me. it is dangerous and can draw people from the True teachings of Jesus.

Another novelty. Lectio Divina and other traditional ways and means of prayer are deemed obsolete by some.

In pagan circles, this centering method is also referred to as grounding.

A lot of people don’t understand that these novel, and for the most part well intended, ways of enriching our spirituality, are in a way desperate attempts to find a better way.

That’s where we are today. The Church has an enormous treasure chest full of way and means to build our Faith and draw closer to God. But some ignore it.

That’s what I was thinking. Not second guessing the mods, but I too thought it was a banned topic. For good reason.
